The Nunchakus Event of the Seventh Municipal Fitness Sports Meeting was held in the Music Hall, north Campus of ZBVI on the morning of March 26th. The event was sponsored by Zibo Sports Bureau and Zibo Sports Committee, organized by the ZBVI nunchakus Club. 158 players from different schools and clubs across the city participated in the game.
The event consisted of individual, group and demonstration games of nunchakus with Kungfu performances at intervals. During group game, the well-trained players acted in unison and strength showing the energetic and vigorous mien of the young generation. Participants of individual game showed impressive craftiness and skills. The excellent performance of Ena, a Russian player, pushed the game to an exciting climax. By the end of the event, ZBVI won the Outstanding Organization Award. ZBVI nunchakus Club ranked the first place in the group event. Three players from ZBVI, Zhang Xichen, Shang Huanle and Yang Wenyue, won the first prize in the Individual game.
The game enhanced the communications among the nunchakus players across the city and improved their professional skills, ulteriorly boosted the development of Zibo Public fitness.
